Pebble Chin

The Pebble Chin, also called cobblestone or orange-peel chin, occurs when the mentalis muscle beneath the chin dimples or puckers the skin, creating an uneven, textured appearance. This is particularly noticeable when speaking, chewing, or at rest in individuals with a hyperactive mentalis. Botox is injected directly into the mentalis to reduce muscle activity and allow the overlying skin to smooth out. The treatment takes approximately 25 minutes with no recovery time required. Most patients see improvement within 7–10 days, with results lasting 3–4 months. Pebble chin correction pairs well with chin filler for patients who also want more definition or projection in the chin area. Results vary by individual.
